Confusion

I had never heard of 5th 3rd Bank before this past vacation.  I first noticed them walking in the downtown area of Bowling Green.  The name with the two fractions in it caught my eye.  Their colors were red and black.  I made a comment about the unusual name and my son did say, you won’t forget it.  He was right, but there is more…

Traveling to and through Chicago the next week, we did notice what appeared to be another bank with the same name, 5th 3rd, but the color and look were different, green and blue, new look.  Sam said it is not the same bank.  A few days later we did see a 5th 3rds branch with red.  He said that is the same one.  Then we noticed more billboards with the green and blue.  We were confused.  It wasn’t just a state to state thing, it was mixed in the same state.

Now at home and researching, I did discover this very large financial company announced its new brand this past February, their web site exhibits the new colors and logo and a press release talks about it.

Interesting!
