In the young days of my PR career, I was always looking for news and reasons to get the attention of the media only through exactly what was going on internally with my employer, never reaching out to others that we collaborated with. Then one day, like a ping to the side of my brain, I realized that those who we collaborate with would also like press attention, why not work together on positive press.

So today, I am sharing with you one good example of how this works! ValleyStone has recently entered the Shared Branch Network and this is the second press release I have worked on with FSCC, our partner. It is being released today, jointly, to national and local media outlets. I find it fun to work with other PR professionals, getting to know their styles; their opinions, etc.
